RaySearch Laboratories posted increased sales for its first quarter (end-March 31).
For the period, the Stockholm-based company highlighted that its order intake increased to 238.5 million Swedish krona ($22.2 million U.S.), up 15% over last year at this time. Net sales were also up, nearly 12% at 257.2 million krona ($24 million), and operating profit nearly doubled over last year at 45.8 million krona ($4.3 million).
Profit after tax reached 36.7 million krona ($3.4 million) compared to 17.6 million krona ($1.6 million) in 2023. The company's order backlog as of 2024's first-quarter interim report was valued at 1.848 billion krona ($172 million).
