TeamBest Global Companies and Best Cyclotron Systems have shipped the first-ever 6 MeV proton therapy cyclotron in the world to a national laboratory.
This compact/high current proton cyclotron, which operates at a more than 500 micro amp current, was designed and produced via a collaboration involving Best Cyclotron Systems' facility in Vancouver, Canada, and fellow TeamBest company Best Theratronics' manufacturing facility in Ottawa. It's the first of multiple such systems set to ship in 2022, according to the Canadian firms.
