Radiation oncology firm Accuray plans to feature its Volo Ultra planning upgrade at the annual meeting of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), which is being held October 24-27.
Representing the latest evolution of its Accuray treatment planning system, Volo Ultra aids clinicians in accelerating Radixact and TomoTherapy treatments, according to the vendor. Volo Ultra includes an optimizer with a gradient-based algorithm designed to generate optimal plans for every treatment, the company said.
