Best Cyclotrons Systems and sister company Best Theratronics have completed the initial factory acceptance test for their Best 6-15 MeV proton cyclotron.
The cyclotron has beam current power of up to 1,000 microampere (µA). Its energy range can be adjusted from 6 MeV to 15 MeV, a capability important for the production of gallium-68, the two firms said.
