
Advocate Radiation Oncology and its affiliate Southwest Florida Proton have selected a compact proton therapy system by Ion Beam Applications (IBA) for its new radiation oncology center in Florida.
IBA agreed to deliver ProteusOne, including pencil-beam scanning and a fully integrated quality assurance hardware and software package, to the company. IBA also will provide long-term operation and maintenance services.
Advocate Radiation Oncology expects to start treating patients by 2023.
