Accuray has completed the first installation of its Radixact radiation therapy system in Utah.
The Radixact unit was installed at Timpanogos Cancer Services, part of the MountainStar Healthcare network of hospitals within Hospital Corporation of America.
Radixact is capable of performing a range of radiation therapy treatments, including image-guided therapy, intensity-modulated radiation therapy, and stereotactic body radiation therapy. This flexibility will enable Timpanogos to offer patients more personalized and precise treatment, according to Accuray.
