Women's health firm AccuBoost has introduced several new upgrades for its AccuBoost Digital breast brachytherapy technology at this week's American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) meeting in Chicago.
The updates included simplified workflow, easier patient setup, and improved treatment times, according to the vendor.
AccuBoost also noted that Dr. Jarek Hepel of Rhode Island Hospital presented updated clinical data from using AccuBoost for accelerated partial breast irradiation in women with early-stage breast cancer.
