Proton therapy developer Ion Beam Applications (IBA) said that its Proteus One compact intensity-modulated proton therapy (IMPT) system is now in operation at the Narita Memorial Proton Center in Toyohashi, Japan.
The first patient was treated on September 7 with proton therapy for prostate cancer, according to the vendor.
