Radiation oncology firm Varian Medical Systems has completed its acquisition of humediQ Global, a developer of automated patient identification software.
HumediQ Global's Identify features a palm reader for automated patient identification, a radiofrequency identification reader for proper accessory verification, and a patient positioning and motion monitoring and management system designed for surface-guided radiation therapy (SGRT).
HumediQ is headquartered in Grünwald, Germany, and has offices in Atlanta and Hong Kong.
