Radiation oncology firm Varian Medical Systems has signed a software technology training and education contract with the Brazil Ministry of Health (MOH) and seven universities and science and technology institutions in Brazil.
The seven institutions are as follows:
- Instituto de Pesquisas Eldorado
- Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações
- Universidade Estadual da Paraíba
- Universidade Estadual de Campinas
- Universidade Federal de Itajubá
- Universidade Federal de Pernambuco
- Universidade Federal de São Paulo
Researchers at these institutions will begin training sessions in June with Varian engineering teams in Switzerland, Finland, and the U.S., according to the firm.
