Varian Medical Systems' Halcyon radiation therapy system has received the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) certificate for import and supply in India, allowing it to market the system in that country.
Halcyon features a 100-cm gantry opening and is capable of rotations four times faster than other C-arm gantries, according to Varian.
