Rad Technology signs deal for Healing Portals artwork

Modular radiotherapy building provider Rad Technology Medical Systems has installed its Healing Portals artwork at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center in Ann Arbor.

Healing Portals are artwork that can be installed on vault doors, turning the radiotherapy treatment room doors into something beautiful or interesting to look at, according to the company. Rad Technology said it had initially worked with the University of Michigan in 2013 when the firm installed its Rad Pro vault and clinic next to the university's existing facility.

The University of Michigan is the second institution to receive Healing Portals. The Moores Cancer Center at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) had previously received four Healing Portals, Rad Technology said.
