Proton therapy developer Ion Beam Applications (IBA) will install its Proteus Plus cancer treatment proton therapy system for Inova Health Care Services in Falls Church, VA.
The contract for the two-room configuration has a value of approximately $60 million, according to IBA. Each treatment room is equipped with pencil-beam scanning capability and integrated conebeam CT.
Inova plans to begin treating patients by 2020.
