Proton therapy developer Mevion Medical Systems has delivered its first S250i with Hyperscan proton therapy pencil-beam scanning system to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
Next, the vendor plans to install a S250i system at Zuidoost Nederland Protonen Therapie Centrum, co-located at the Maastricht Clinic in the Netherlands. The Ackerman Cancer Center in Jacksonville, FL, is also slated to receive a S250i with Hyperscan system, Mevion said.
