Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer iCAD announced that Kevin Burns, the company's president, chief financial officer (CFO), and chief operating officer (COO), is resigning effective September 23.
R. Scott Areglado, currently vice president and controller, will serve as interim CFO while iCAD searches for a permanent replacement for Burns, according to the firm. CEO Ken Ferry will serve as interim president, and Stacey Stevens, currently executive vice president of marketing and strategy, will serve as interim COO.
Burns' resignation is due to a new career opportunity and is not the result of any dispute or disagreement with iCAD or any matter relating to its accounting practices or financial statements, the company said.
