Radiation oncology firm Elekta has appointed Richard Hausmann as its new president and CEO, succeeding Tomas Puusepp.
Hausmann previous served as president and CEO of GE Healthcare's MR division, and while at Siemens Healthcare he led that company's CT business. He also held several positions in Siemens' MR business and was CEO of Siemens China, where he was responsible for the company's portfolio in that country.
Puusepp will continue to serve on Elekta's board starting in June.
