Physicians at a Florida health network have begun using a new Mevion S250 proton therapy system from Mevion Medical Systems.
The University of Florida Health Cancer Center -- Orlando Health began treating patients this month. The system is installed in the facility's Marjorie and Leonard Williams Center for Proton Therapy, according to American Shared Hospital Services, which installed the system.
