The proton therapy market in South Korea will grow to $15.3 million by 2020, with an annual growth rate of 24.4%, according to a new report by Research and Markets.
By 2020, South Korea will have two proton therapy centers, the report predicts. Proton therapy technology developer Ion Beam Applications (IBA) and Sumitomo Heavy Industries will play a part in the growing market, according to the research firm.
