ProCure Treatment Centers and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance have opened a new proton therapy treatment center, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Proton Therapy.
The site is the first in the Pacific Northwest and is located on the campus of University of Washington (UW) Medicine's Northwest Hospital and Medical Center.
It is the fourth in a national network of proton therapy centers developed by ProCure. The proton center is expected to treat about 1,400 patients annually and is being staffed by physicians from UW Medicine.
