Danish ultrasound firm B-K Medical and radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems have collaborated to develop a digital interface between the Copenhagen-based company's Pro Focus ultrasound scanner and Varian's VariSeed 8.0 planning software.
The interface is designed to improve and streamline prostate brachytherapy procedures, according to B-K and Varian of Palo Alto, CA.
