Atlanta-based outpatient oncology start-up Physician Oncology Services reported that it has acquired a controlling interest in Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia (RCOG), a seven-facility radiation therapy provider, also in Atlanta.
Physician Oncology Services, backed by venture capital firm Oak Hill Capital Partners, said that it plans to expand its RCOG platform through new center development and partnerships in new markets.
