MRI Interventions reports ClearPoint milestone

MRI Interventions said that its ClearPoint neurointervention system has been used to perform its first real-time MRI-guided neurosurgical shunt placement.

The shunt placement was performed under real-time MRI guidance by Dr. Ellen Air, a neurosurgeon at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, according to the vendor.
