Hitachi gets multi-unit Airis order

Hitachi Medical Systems America has been chosen as the preferred supplier of open MR systems for the member hospitals of Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation of Memphis, TN. The three-year agreement covers the Twinsburg, OH-based vendor’s Airis II open MR systems, according to Hitachi. The first Airis II system was installed at Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital in Germantown, TN, with other scanners also installed at acute care hospitals in Union City, TN; Blytheville, AR; New Albany, MS; and Columbus, MS.
