Isotopia USA has signed an agreement with E Solutions to design and build its new 28,000-sq-ft medical isotope manufacturing facility at its headquarters in Indianapolis, IN.
The facility will include cleanrooms and analytical and microbiological labs necessary for high-volume production of lutetium-177 and terbium-161 isotopes, which are used in targeted nuclear medicine therapies for cancer patients.
E Solutions, also based in Indianapolis, is a company that specializes in executing multiple FDA-regulated installations in the radiopharmaceutical industry. Isotopia anticipates providing products to its key customers in the fourth quarter of 2024, the company added.
