As had been announced earlier this year, Timothy Ring has been named chairman and CEO at interventional technology developer C.R. Bard, effective today. Ring succeeds William Longfield, who has retired after 14 years with the Murray Hills, NJ-based vendor.
Longfield will remain on the board of directors. In other appointments, Bard named John Weiland as president and COO.
