Cancer treatment firm Sirtex Medical has appointed a new CEO.
Kevin R. Smith has been serving as interim CEO, the company said. Before this position, he was the executive vice president of sales and marketing for the Americas.
Prior to Sirtex, Smith served as the executive vice president of business development at gel-e, a startup company specializing in material hemostasis products, as well as in positions at Sensium Healthcare, Teleflex, Hill-Rom, Zoll Medical, and Smiths Group.
