Swiss imaging software developer Medimaps Group has named Hologic as the U.S. distribution partner for its TBS iNsight osteoporosis fracture assessment software.
The tool, which has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) marketing clearance, assesses bone texture on dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) images from bone-mineral densitometry scans and provides a trabecular bone score (TBS), according to Medimaps.
Hologic will also distribute TBS iNsight in Canada.
