Toshiba America Medical Systems has formed strategic partnerships with radiation dose management firms Radimetrics and Phoenix Technology.
Now available as an option on new Toshiba Aquilion CT systems, Radimetrics' eXposure software automatically captures and calculates patient radiation dose, according to the vendor. It can integrate with existing PACS, RIS, and imaging modalities, and is customizable, Toshiba said.
Toshiba's partnership with Phoenix Technology will provide its clients with turnkey physics services to the American College of Radiology's accreditation process, Toshiba said. Phoenix Technology's physicists will assist Toshiba customers with their quality assurance program and provide the required physics testing and support required to obtain accreditation, according to the company.
Toshiba said that the ACR accreditation service support is also available for its MR customers.
