Chinese medical equipment manufacturer Neusoft Medical Systems announced the introduction of its NeuViz 64-slice CT scanner, which debuted at the China International Medical Equipment Fair held April 17-20 in Shenzhen.
The multislice CT scanner includes radiation dose reduction software. It is currently pending clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the company said.
The system joins a suite of CT scanners that include NeuViz Single, NeuViz Dual, and the Neuviz 16-slice CT scanner. These systems are in use in more than 60 countries.
