Medical imaging table and accessory supplier Biodex Medical Systems has released its Clear-Lead radiation protection panels.
Clear-Lead panels are made from a transparent acrylic plastic that contains 30% lead by weight, according to the firm. The panels are designed as a shatter-resistant option for a large, undistorted radiation protection window.
The panels are available in six different thicknesses and can be cut with commonly used tools to fit to standard lead-lined window frames, Biodex said.
