Clinical:
Extrapleural lipomatosis is an asymptomatic condition in which there is increased subcostal / extrapleural fat. The condition can occur due to fatty weight gain or an increase in exogenous/endogenous steroids. The condition is classically bilateral, symmetric, and typically does not exceed 5 mm. It tends to concentrate along the mid-posterolateral thoracic wall and spares the costophrenic angles.REFERENCES:
