Apollo to preview updated workflow platform at RSNA

Apollo Enterprise Imaging will showcase a new version of its multidisciplinary medical imaging platform at RSNA 2023.

Called arcc, the platform is designed to support health systems to organize and access medical imaging across numerous departments and delivers efficient clinical workflows as well as enhances collaboration by converging all image viewing to a single pane of glass, according to the vendor.

Specifically, the new version of arcc offers improvements focused on clinical users, as follows:

  • An updated UI that optimizes screen real estate for clinical image display by almost 20%,
  • Revamped UI/UX that provides a more intuitive and optimized user workflow,
  • Additional filter/sort capabilities to speed user access to relevant clinical imaging,
  • Improved metadata management,
  • Expanded digital pathology whole slide imaging viewable formats and increased speed to image display,
  • An interface to Amazon Web Services (AWS) HealthImaging service for storing, analyzing, and sharing medical images at petabyte scale, and
  • FlexView integration and performance improvements.
