RaySearch to highlight software upgrades at AAPM

Radiation therapy software developer RaySearch Laboratories plans to highlight upgrades to its RayCare and RayStation software packages at the upcoming American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) meeting in Nashville.

The company's RayCare 2A oncology information system now features RayPACS, which helps users tag images and can be used with RayCare or as a standalone PACS. It also now includes tools such as calendar views and schedules and charge capture, the company said.

RaySearch's RayStation 8A treatment planning system now supports TomoDirect and TomoHelical, both of which are part of radiation oncology firm Accuray's TomoTherapy and Radixact systems, according to the firm.
