Subtle Medical has named Lawrence Tanenbaum, MD, as executive medical director and chair of its Medical Advisory Board.
Tanenbaum most recently served as vice president, chief technology officer, and director of advanced imaging at RadNet, where he helped evaluate and deploy Subtle Medical's SubtleMR AI-powered MRI enhancement software across hundreds of scanners, the company said. Prior to RadNet, he was associate professor of radiology and director of MRI, CT, and outpatient/advanced imaging development at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has served as an advisor to Subtle Medical since 2019.
In his new role, Tanenbaum will guide clinical strategy and product development across Subtle Medical's AI imaging platform, which spans MRI, PET, and CT applications, according to an announcement.
