The RSNA is now accepting applications from candidates interested in becoming the next editor of its Radiology journal. The current editor, Dr. David Bluemke, PhD, will be leaving his position at the end of 2022.
Dr. David Bluemke, PhD.Dr. Jeffrey Klein, RSNA board liaison for publications and communications, will chair a search committee to assist the board of directors in finding a replacement for Bluemke, who has served as editor since 2018. The society said it would like the search to be as broad and inclusive as possible and is encouraging expressions of interest for the job.
Prospective candidates can email their curricula vitae, cover letters, and vision statements to Klein by May 14. The new editor is expected to be selected in December 2021 and will become editor-in-designate on July 1, 2022. They will then take over as editor in January 2023, according to the RSNA.
