A lawsuit was filed this week in New York's Nassau County Supreme Court in relation to a high-profile fatal MRI accident that occurred July 16, 2025, in Westbury, NY.
The complaint offers little substance, safety expert, educator, and host of "The Invisible Force" podcast series Tobias "Toby" Gilk told AuntMinnie.
However, the April 7 filing provides a brief account of the situation, alleging that plaintiff's husband, Keith McAllister, was "summoned into the MRI room, by the technician, to help the plaintiff get off the table" and that negligence and hazardous conditions permitted the man to enter the MRI room with a large metallic chain around his neck.
In addition, the plaintiff, Adrienne Jones-McAllister, claims severe and serious personal, psychological, and emotional injuries, noting the obligation to pay for medical care and/or cure in an effort to alleviate the suffering and ills sustained as a result of the accident, according to the filing.
Since Episode 1 of "The Invisible Force" aired January 27, Gilk and co-host John Posh have been reviewing evidence available to them, including legal clues. Episode 7 published just prior to the filing explores the supporting cast of litigants.
