Fujifilm adds new Premier contracts

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has received two new three-year, dual-source contracts from group purchasing organization Premier Purchasing Partners. The Stamford, CT-based vendor will provide film and medical imagers to Premier’s nearly 1,500 member hospitals.

Effective September 1, 2003, the contracts have a combined value of approximately $200 million a year, and include conventional wet film, mammography film, dry film, and wet and dry imagers, Fujifilm said. The vendor already has computed radiography and PACS supply deals with Premier.
