Siemens posts revenue gains in Q3

Siemens Rsna 2021 400

Siemens Healthineers reported comparable revenue growth of 2.8% for its fiscal third quarter, alongside an adjusted EBIT margin of 19.1%, with tariff refunds having a positive effect across all segments, according to the company.

The company's Imaging segment posted total adjusted revenue of €3.008 billion euros ($3.48 billion) up 2.3% on a comparable basis from the €2.966 billion euros ($3.42 billion) reported in the third quarter year ago. It also yielded adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of €798 million ($920.5 million), up from 703 million ($810.9 million) last year. Its adjusted EBIT margin of 26.5% was also higher than the 23.7% produced in the 2025 fiscal third quarter.

Siemens highlighted the strong revenue growth for Imaging in the EMEA region. Meanwhile, the Americas region produced slight growth following the sharp growth produced in the previous year. Revenue also rose slightly in the Asia Pacific Japan region, but declined by a high single-digit percentage range in the China region. Both regions had generated significant growth in the previous year's quarter.

Siemen's Precision Therapy business increased total adjusted revenues by 9.2% in the fiscal third quarter, with an adjusted EBIT margin of 17.5%. However, Diagnostics comparable revenue declined 5.5%, with an adjusted EBIT margin of 4.1%.

For fiscal year 2026, the company now expects comparable revenue growth of between 3.5% and 4.0%, down from a previous range of 4.5% to 5.0%, citing Diagnostics segment revenue weakness. Adjusted basic earnings per share guidance was raised to a range of €2.35 to €2.45, up from €2.20 to €2.30, reflecting the impact of U.S. tariff refunds under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
