Strong sales gains helped Del Medical Systems Group return to profitability in its fiscal fourth quarter.
For the period (end-July 31), the Roselle, IL-based firm had sales of $9.4 million, up 19.6% compared with the $7.9 million reported in the fourth quarter of 2009. The group had operating income of $700,000, compared with an operating loss of $100,000 a year ago.
Del Medical had fiscal 2010 sales of $43.7 million, up 6.8% compared with the $40.9 million turned in during fiscal 2009. The firm credited a modest increase in customer demand for the sales gains.
