SonoSite expects higher Q4 sales

Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite said it expects to report revenue growth of 20% for both the fourth quarter and full fiscal 2007 (end-December 31).

SonoSite said that preliminary sales for the fourth quarter are $65 million, compared to $54.4 million in the same period of 2006. Worldwide revenue is estimated to be $205 million for the year, compared with $171.1 million in 2006.

The Bothell, WA-based company said that its new M-Turbo and S-Series products, which began shipping in December, accounted for 30% of the quarter's revenue. SonoSite expects to report complete financial results for the periods on February 14.
