Medical technology company Resoundant is expanding its clinical research services in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic.

Due to heightened interest in researching chronic liver diseases, Resoundant has grown its services to core labs for clinical trials to meet growing demand. Working together, Resoundant and Mayo Clinic will use MR elastography and imaging of proton density fat fraction, which were pioneered by Resoundant, to move clinical trials forward.

These noninvasive technologies are used in trials as key biomarkers due to their rapid acquisition protocols, superior accuracy, repeatability, and wide availability, according to the company.

Resoundant has expanded its services by providing access to Resoundant/Mayo Clinic analysts for centralized image reads, secure data management, quantitative reporting, site training and identification, regulatory support, study startup/closeout support, quality control, and proprietary in-house analytics.
