Digirad's Q3 financials continue upward trend

Nuclear medicine firm Digirad posted another quarter of profitability for its third quarter.

For the period (ending-September 30), the Poway, CA-based firm had consolidated revenue of $18.8 million, up 12.6% from the $16.7 million in sales received in the third quarter last year. The company's Digirad Imaging Services (DIS) business produced revenue of $13.5 million, compared to $11.4 million in 2006.

Nine-month consolidated revenues were $55.1 million, compared to $54.7 million for the first nine months of 2006. DIS revenue was $39 million, compared to $38 million for the same period last year.
