Toshiba America Medical Systems (TAMS) of Tustin, CA, has promoted Doug Ryan to the position of vice president of marketing and strategic development.
Previously director of TAMS' CT division, Ryan now has responsibility for all of the vendor's U.S. business units, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and vascular x-ray. He will also handle strategic marketing for Toshiba.
Ryan joined TAMS in 2001 as a CT modality manager, and in 2002 he was named director of Toshiba's CT business unit. He was promoted to senior director of the CT unit in 2007.
