GE expands in India

Multimodality vendor GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., is expanding its manufacturing operations in Bangalore, India, to enable more customized products for local use. The company also has launched its first CT system manufactured in the country.

The CT system manufacturing facility has a yearly capacity of 40 units, according to GE.
