SonoSite debuts S-ICU

Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite has introduced S-ICU, an ultrasound device targeted at intensive care physicians.

The Bothell, WA-based vendor is showing the system at this week's American College of Chest Physicians annual meeting in Chicago. Shipments are expected to begin in the fourth quarter.
