Visage Imaging inks deals with Siemens, Agfa

Visage Imaging of Carlsbad, CA, announced new product integration agreements with Siemens Medical Solutions and Agfa HealthCare at the RSNA 2007 meeting in Chicago.

Siemens of Malvern, PA, will integrate the Visage 3D thin-client platform into its Sienet Magic product line, offering this capability as a product upgrade to existing customers. The interface is designed to plug into existing IT infrastructures to take advantage of any existing user configurations, image access rights, and DICOM routing.

Agfa of Mortsel, Belgium, plans to integrate the Visage CS thin-client server into its Impax product line to enable enterprise-wide advanced visualization capabilities. With this approach, large image datasets would reside entirely on a central server, providing interactive 3D and 4D viewing and making postprocessing available on any client computer using streaming technology.
