Canadian digital x-ray developer Imaging Dynamics (IDC) of Calgary, Alberta, reported that it has commenced the research and development phase of utilizing its Xplorer digital radiography technology for the digital mammography market.
Commercialization of the technology will be dependant upon obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals, the company said. Research efforts are ongoing with the goal of starting the regulatory approval process late this year, according to IDC.
