Agfa, Siemens ink DR pact

Agfa HealthCare of Mortsel, Belgium, and Siemens Medical Solutions of Erlangen, Germany, have signed a bilateral agreement in digital radiography.

Under terms of the agreement, on a nonexclusive basis, Agfa will globally distribute Siemens DR Mammomat Novation digital mammography system. Agfa said it will source other components from Siemens to support the development of its DR portfolio. In turn, Siemens will further expand its offering of Agfa's CR systems complementing existing agreements with the company.
