Rusckowski named to FUSF board

The Focused Ultrasound Surgery Foundation (FUSF) of Charlottesville, VA, has elected Steve Rusckowski, CEO of Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, to its board of directors.

Rusckowski has served as Philips' CEO since November 2006. He previously served as CEO of Philips' Imaging Systems business group.

The Focused Ultrasound Surgery Foundation's mission is to develop and promote the worldwide adoption of focused ultrasound.

Its activities include funding translational and clinical research, providing fellowships for training physicians and scientists, hosting symposia and workshops, maintaining online informational resources, and establishing new centers of excellence.
