CIVCO launches needle guide for GE transducers

Ultrasound and radiotherapy products provider CIVCO Medical Solutions announced that its disposable needle guide is now available for new GE Healthcare transducers.

CIVCO's Ultra-Pro II needle guidance system is designed to increase the productivity of ultrasound-guided procedures, including tissue biopsy, fluid aspirations, catheter placement, and regional anesthesia. It consists of a custom, reusable biopsy bracket and a disposable, snap-on needle guide; the single-use design of the needle guide reduces the risk of cross-contamination, according to Kalona, IA-based CIVCO.
